Michael graduated from Birmingham University in 2008 and spent 6 years working in a mixed NHS/private practice in his hometown of Northampton. He moved to the North West in 2014, becoming the owner of a private family dental practice in Cheshire where he works 4 days a week.

He spends one day a week here at Parbold accepting endodontic (root canal treatment) referrals in house and from surrounding practices. Through his calm and relaxed manner, he will put you at ease from the moment you walk in the door. This has enabled even the most anxious of patients to undergo advanced procedures.

Michael enjoys undertaking all aspects of dental treatment although his passion lies in endodontics. He has shown an aptitude for endodontics since very early in his career, completing a special study module in the subject while still an undergraduate.

Michael has continued to develop his skills in this area of dentistry and completed his 3 year postgraduate MSc in endodontics in October 2016, graduating with Merit. Away from dentistry, Michael enjoys an active lifestyle. He lives in South Manchester with his fiancée and his pet cat Louis!

When not at home swotting up on the latest techniques and procedures in the dental world, he can usually be found training for his latest endurance effort, be it a half marathon, 10k run or Olympic distance triathlon. Most recently he completed a 100 mile bike ride raising money for the Cure Leukaemia charity.
